App Review 1.. For All you Artists out there… August 23, 2009
Brushes. BOOM! It’s actually a really good app. You see, I don’t really like posting reviews on the app store so I guess I’ll just write one here.
Ok, so this is an art app called brushes. It’s a very sophisticated application. You can choose your exact color, the opacity of the color, an your brush style, and the size of the brush. You can also fill the background. For me, the best part is that you can zoom in, which makes drawing important details extremely easy. I drew something on a iphone that I could not draw on paper, and man, for me drawing on an iphone is like climbing he Andes Mountains, the tallest mountains in South America and the 2nd tallest mountains in the world!!! (Ha ha, I learned about them in social studies!!!) If you like something a little less confusing, I would say choose the DoodleBuddy app. You can choose your background, and yes, it can be a photo, and there is an eraser tool, and the biggest perk is that you can draw with someone else who has that app! Cool, cool, COOL!

Wow, Julie Powell is cool! She actually cooked every recipe in Mastering the Art of French Cooking, including (gag) liver jell-o!
Imagine a woman who has a hard time getting things done. She works with the government and lives above a pizzeria. Pretty plain, huh? Now add the fact that she cooked every single recipe in Mastering the Art of French Cooking, and has a job. Still pretty plain. Add a little bit of Julia Child.. okay, a little interesting now. Add parallels between Julie and Julia. It will make you comfortably full.
Overall, it’s an okay movie. Nothing really bad happens. Every “meltdown” is cute. If you need a pick-me-up, see it. If you want a great movie, then don’t. I give it 3 stars.

We HAVE SOME COMMENTS! 1 from my friend Soph on Jon and Kate plus 8.She’s on team nay. She doesn’t like that Jon and Kate make their kids go through that. And she doesn’t understand what’s so special about the Gosselin’s. Team nay has 1 vote! I have another comment from my friend Grace. She is half on my side. She thinks that Jon and Kate should just come out and tell their kids that they are divorced. Judging by the fact that she watched Jon and Kate plus 8, I’m gonna say she’s on team Yay. Hey hey hey, ya’ll!!! You’ll never guess where I am… (well, if you read the title, you probably can…) EMERALD ISLE BEACH! We’re having a great time. The beach is just a really special place to me, I feel totally calm and serene and connected, you know? So, I think I’m going to start doing movie, magazine, and TV show reviews now. I know it can get boring hearing me just talk about me… and my fabu life!! Ha ha ha! Well it looks like I’m starting to build up some regular visitors!!! That’s great!
